I worked with CHLOÉDIGITAL to design and develop this site. A few years back, I had heard another influencer mention them and when I looked into their designs I was impressed to say the least. I hadn’t been reading blogs for a few years, and what I had known to be “blogs” had turned into full-blown websites with sleek, sophisticated navigation and visuals. With some broad strokes (and a lot of ignorance), I shared some overall design ideas with my project manager at CHLOÉDIGITAL. What they turned around and presented to me left me speechless. They had read my mind. Or at the very least, deciphered my ignorant blatherings of a website design. I cannot thank them enough, and I hope you enjoy it.

rebranding
But before I could get started with the website design, I needed to rebrand which would include a new logo, a color scheme and a story of fonts. Emily Wells Design was referred to me by chloedigital. Of course I knew she was up to the task, but there’s always the question as to whether or not the person is going to get your “vibe”.
When I first saw Emily’s page and designs, I felt swept away. They evoked calmness and serenity. And there’s nothing more I treasure in life than calmness and serenity. Also, there was a softness that came through, but clear and concise messaging.
I sent Emily some other logos I liked that she could use to get to know me. From there, it was pure magic. She sent me a mood board, and I LOVE a good mood board, and everything fell into place. I fell in love with the logo, and never had I felt so fortunate to have initials that mirror each other. The beauty she created with “M” and “W” was incredible. I can tend to have a very harsh, stoic style and I was so thrilled to work with Emily who smoothed it all out.
NEW MERCH!
And finally, drumroll please… I have new merch! I couldn’t launch my new logo, branding and website without new merch, could I? I wanted something to show off my logo (can you tell how much I love it?) and something fun, easy and for everyone. So we’ve got SWEATSHIRTS! If you know how much I love a good sweatshirt, you’ll know how excited I am.
I thought this would be an easy project to pull off, but there was a specific color I wanted for the sweatshirt and most vendors I found online only had the basics – black, navy, red, white, etc.
I was looking for a very special tan color. Something like a light warm taupe. And a lighter version with a little cream and a little gray. I was also adamant about them being embroidered and not screen-printed. Personally, I can’t stand when the design cracks and fades away.
So Emily introduced me to Lauren Redman, a designer who runs a design and fabrication company. Lo and behold, she had the perfect sweatshirt and could do the embroidery! These sweatshirts are limited edition, and I have sizes XS – XXL. I’m comfortable in a L, for size reference, but there is more information on my shoppable site here.
